Abstract
L’article porte sur les transformations de l’enseignement de la philosophie au collégial de 1967 à nos jours et sur les discours qui les justifient. Le caractère normatif de l’enseignement, c’est-à-dire l’adhésion du sujet à un courant de pensée en vue d’une transformation sur le plan existentiel ou sur le plan politique, va s’estomper considérablement dès les années quatre-vingt au profit d’une conception plus objective et épistémologique des paradigmes philosophiques. Dans les années quatre-vingt-dix, le développement d’« habiletés intellectuelles » occupe un espace central dans l’enseignement, tandis que l’importance accordée aux contenus philosophiques diminue. L’auteur cherche à déterminer si ces changements s’inscrivent dans un processus de reproduction ou de transformation sociale.
