Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Abstract An optimized fiber structure for use in anti‐Stokes laser cooling of solids is presented. The sample is an optical fiber fabricated from a fluorozirconate glass ZBLANP (ZrF4‐BaF2‐LaF3‐AlF3‐NaF‐PbF2) with a core doped with Yb3+ ions and optimized to achieve the largest temperature change in the sample starting at room temperature. It is shown that the change in the temperature of the sample is a function of the geometry of the fiber. For each pump power there is an optimized diameter of the fiber core, for which the largest drop occurs in the temperature of the sample. A titled Bragg grating imprinted into the fiber core is suggested to prevent the re‐absorption of anti‐Stokes photons. (© 2009 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
