Porté par le Lahic ( Cnrs/Éhéss ) et le ministère de la Culture dans le cadre d’un partenariat avec la Bnf , le Mucem , le Crbc ..., financé par l’Agence nationale de la recherche, le programme Bérose (Base d’études et de recherches sur l’organisation des savoirs ethnographiques) a pour but de produire une généalogie fine de l’ethnographie européenne sur une période allant de la Révolution française à la Seconde Guerre mondiale. La base de données qui en est issue (www.berose.fr) est un lieu de mutualisation des données et des outils documentaires recueillis par les chercheurs (revues, archives, correspondances…) et un lieu de publication des résultats de la recherche qui viennent contextualiser ces sources numérisées. Complémentaire de Bérose , Archivethno est une base de données issue du programme de recherche du Garae -Ethnopôle (Carcassonne) sur les sources et genèses de l’ethnologie de la France, dans le cadre d’une collaboration entre le Lahic et la mission à l’Ethnologie (ministère de la Culture). Elle a pour vocation de recenser les fonds d’archives, qualifiés aujourd’hui d’ethnographiques et conservés dans les collections publiques nationales.
