Abstract
Cet article défend l’idée que les performances d’Olivier Choinière Bienvenue à (2005) et Ascension (2006), deux parcours individuels dans des lieux publics urbains avec une trame sonore sur baladeur, se situent à la frontière du théâtre, mais aussi d’une autre activité culturelle : le tourisme. L’ambiguïté de l’appartenance institutionnelle est notamment soutenue par l’indétermination de la relation qu’établit le texte de la trame sonore avec son auditeur. Les textes des déambulatoires de Choinière et leur appartenance à ces deux types d’activité suscitent une réflexion critique de l’intérieur sur le spectacle théâtral, le tourisme et notre relation contemporaine à l’espace urbain.
