Abstract
La téléréalité a transformé l’univers de la télévision grand public. Dans ce texte, nous postulons que le phénomène de la téléréalité a connu une évolution en trois temps. La première génération de téléréalité emprunte à la fiction et au documentaire. On reconstruit la réalité à l’aide de témoignages, de reconstitutions d’événements et d’entrevues sur les lieux de l’événement. La téléréalité de la deuxième génération s’internationalise. Au lieu de reconstruire la réalité, on l’observe. La téléréalité de la troisième génération est interactive, multiplateformes et multimédias. On génère la réalité grâce à des émissions coupées et montées. En ce sens, la véritable originalité de la téléréalité d’aujourd’hui est à chercher dans sa façon d’utiliser les nouvelles technologies : Internet, vidéo, téléphonie cellulaire, lecteur MP3, radio et télévision.
