Abstract
Cette recherche vise à comprendre le processus d’adaptation interne d’une organisation. Ce processus, fondé sur la mise en place d’un règlement écrit, faisant l’objet de modifications par les acteurs, conduit à mobiliser la théorie de la régulation sociale (Reynaud). L’adaptation interne est analysée comme un processus de régulation complexe. La méthodologie qualitative utilisée est fondée sur une étude de cas unique analysant l’évolution d’une association du secteur social en France. Les principaux enseignements portent sur l’adaptation à long terme de l’organisation. Sont mis en évidence le processus de naissance d’une règle dans le cadre de l’adaptation et la place des différentes régulations dans cette dynamique.
