Abstract
Les auteurs ont interrogé 878 collégiens et lycéens (50 % de sexe masculin, 50 % de sexe féminin) de la région Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur au sujet des images sportives et du spectacle sportif. Les résultats montrent que les hommes sont majoritaires dans le panthéon des athlètes les plus appréciés, quel que soit le genre des individus interrogés mais pas pour les mêmes raisons. Les garçons les choisissent pour des raisons qui touchent essentiellement à l’action sportive ; les filles les choisissent pour des raisons plus esthétiques et individuelles.
