Hypochloremic metabolic alkalosis occurs in pseudo-Bartte ’s syndrome (PBS) without a primary renal tubular defect. Usually seen in cystic fibrosis, this syndrome can also be caused by recurrent vomiting for various reasons. We present a case of multiple gastrointestinal anomalies, each by itself capable of causing the clinical condition, in a 10-day-old infant with PBS.
