Abstract
On offre ici une interprétation nouvelle de deux des symboles de l’allégorie de la Caverne : les ombres de l’étape C1 du prisonnier enchaîné et les marionnettes de l’étape C2 du prisonnier qui se libère. Les deux symboles analysés ne sont pas, selon l’auteur, des symboles de réalités (C1 = ombres et C2 = réalités sensibles) que pourrait suggérer un parallélisme strict avec la Ligne (L1 = image et L2 = réalité sensible), mais des symboles se référant à des modes de jugements qui portent tous deux sur la même réalité sensible.
