Abstract
On ne s'étonnera pas de nous voir publier une bibliographie de Léon Gérin. Il est superflu de plaider l'importance d’une bibliographie comme instrument de recherche. Nous n'aurons pas davantage à justifier le choix de Léon Gérin. Celui-ci est, depuis longtemps, un classique de la recherche sociale au Canada français. Ses principaux ouvrages sont connus et abondamment utilisés par les professeurs et les étudiants d'histoire» d'ethnographie et de sociologie. Mais 1' ensemble de ses travaux méritent d'être plus connus et utilisés. Ils le seraient si on savait mieux les repérer. C est le but de la présente étude. Avant d'exposer la bibliographie proprement dite, 1' auteur évoque brièvement la Vie et le sens de 1' œuvre sociologique de Léon Gérin.
