Pour construire des intersections entre des théologies chrétiennes et la mouvance altermondialiste, cet article part de définitions opérationnelles de la mouvance altermondialiste et des théologies contextuelles faites dans une perspective de la libération, car elles ont une affinité avec elle. En raison de son articulation avec le Forum social mondial, l’altermondialisme est considéré comme une « mouvance » et il est analysé en lien avec la stratégie politique du Forum social mondial. Les théologies contextuelles sont mises en relation avec le Forum mondial de théologie et libération. Cette approche fait ressortir les rapports entre ces deux forums, en particulier l’inscription du second dans le premier. Puis, on présente trois intersections entre ces deux champs de pratique : 1) s’indigner devant l’intolérable : « un autre monde est possible » ; 2) préparer aujourd’hui pour demain un monde de justice : des analyses systémiques et intersectorielles ; 3) appliquer à soi et à son groupe les orientations suggérées : le personnel est politique.
