Abstract
RÉSUMÉ Vers une éthique créole Dans le cadre d'une réflexion sur l'universalité de la doctrine des droits de l'homme, l'auteur donne successivement la parole à des penseurs post-coloniaux d'Asie et à des intellectuels occidentaux engagés dans la promotion du pluralisme juridique. Il montre comment les uns et les autres mettent paradoxalement en évidence la non-commensurabilité des systèmes culturels d'éthique et de droit, et leur incontournable créolisation dans le contexte de la mondialisation. L'auteur s'interroge également, en référence à la condamnation d'écrivains, sur le droit des pays à limiter la liberté d'expression pour des raisons, par exemple, de foi religieuse. Le cadre d'analyse critique utilisée par l'auteur intègre au sein de l'anthropologie les perspectives des post-colonial studies et des cultural studies.
