Résumé Qu’est-ce qu’une frontière ? L’ouvrage de Benoît Peeters et François Schuiten La frontière invisible nous offre une stimulante mise en scène des enjeux politiques de trois manières de faire frontière. Cet article, qui ne se veut pas un compte rendu, en propose une lecture qui s’appuie sur la typologie peircienne du signe (indice/icône/symbole) et la sociologie des techniques de B. Latour, notamment sa notion d’accumulateur.
