Résumé À l’heure du 40 e anniversaire de la Francophonie institutionnelle, on constate que cette dernière est devenue un acteur reconnu et respecté des relations internationales. Son action politique a été systématisée et renforcée depuis la Déclaration de Bamako en 2000. Au niveau international, la Déclaration de Bamako a permis à la Francophonie de contribuer au sein de son espace au renforcement des normes et des mécanismes de protection et de sauvegarde de la démocratie, des droits de l’homme et de la paix, contributions qui continuent de motiver son action.
