Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

An analytical model to predict the effective conductivity of a partially sintered solid is presented. It is based on an analysis of heat flow through a spherical particle embedded in a self-consistent matrix. Determination of the effective conductivity reduces to solving an integral equation, and a numerical solution of this equation is presented. In the limiting cases wherein the contact size is either small or comparable to the particle size, approximate analytical results are obtained which agree very well with the numerical solution. Furthermore, when pieced together, the two solutions are found to describe the effective conductivity over the entire range of contact sizes.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
