Abstract
Signé en novembre 1993 dans un contexte économique et politique difficile, l'accord-cadre intervenu entre le gouvernement du Québec et la Centrale de l'enseignement du Québec a ouvert un nouveau champ de négociation : l'organisation du travail. L'article présente la démarche de révision de l'organisation du travail amorcée par les trois fédérations des syndicats du réseau de la santé et des services sociaux affiliés à la CEQ engageant les parties nationales, les syndicats et les employeurs. Après avoir réalisé le bilan de cette expérience, les trois fédérations, la FPSSS, la FSPPSSSQ et l'UQII identifient les conditions d'exercice d'un processus de réorganisation du travail qui déboucherait sur de nouvelles formes plus démocratiques d'organisation du travail : participation des syndicats à la révision de l'organisation du travail, reconnaissance réelle des syndicats par les employeurs, règles claires, mécanismes de gestion des conflits, transparence de l'information, révision des pratiques syndicales, ouverture à un syndicalisme de proposition, formation des travailleuses et des travailleurs.
