Abstract
Cet article est une contribution africaine-luba à l’échange interculturel et chrétien sur des données aussi fondamentales que la conception de la vie et la foi en Jésus-Christ. Il présente donc, au départ, solidement appuyée sur des proverbes, dictons, prières, mythes et légendes traditionnels, cette conception africaine-luba de la vie, marquée du sceau de la sacralité, de la naissance du petit d’homme jusque dans l’au-delà des ancêtres et de Dieu, en passant par tous les combats contre les forces de mort qui pullulent ici-bas. C’est sur une telle conception que vient passer la lumière de Jésus-Christ, dans une rencontre féconde, faite d’accueil bienveillant et de nécessaire dépassement.
