A multidisciplinary geophysical study was performed at Naval Air Station, Brunswick Maine to provide a better understanding of the possible migration pathways of contaminants in bedrock fractures and deeper stratigraphic zones whose geometries might be controlled by bedrock morphology. Geophysical data collected using seismic refraction and reflection, GPR, and resistivity were combined with existing borehole and cone penetrometer information to produce an integrated database for modeling the bedrock and key stratigraphic surfaces. Overall, the combination of borehole constraints and geophysical data provided an effective means of delineating hydrostratigraphic units in the study area and establishing reliable stratigraphic trends.
