Abstract
L’Afite a tenu en novembre 2011 une conférence dont l’objet visait notamment à permettre à des ingénieurs de l’environnement de s’approprier cette pratique et de la mettre en œuvre. Ce besoin d’appropriation est en effet de plus en plus fort ! Les usages présentés dans l’ouvrage L’Analyse du Cycle de Vie d’un produit ou d’un service : applications et mise en pratique sont d’actualité. Des usages complémentaires apparaissent, avec le développement de l’affichage environnemental, tant en France qu’au niveau européen. Notre objectif, dans cet article, est de présenter un état des lieux de la pratique des ACV, permettant au lecteur « débutant » en la matière, comme peut l’être un ingénieur de l’Afite qui la découvre, de disposer d’une introduction à cette pratique. Nous y reprendrons les éléments clefs de la présentation qui en a été faite dans le cadre de la conférence précitée de l’Afite, en les développant.
