Abstract
Les politiques de désinstitutionnalisation des soins psychiatriques entraînent le retour massif d'ex-patients psychiatriques au sein de la vie en société. Conformément à l'approche des déterminants sociaux de la santé et du bien-être, nous soutenons que les actions menées hors du cadre hospitalier sont les plus favorables au bien-être des personnes utilisatrices des services de santé mentale. En tête de liste des déterminants sociaux de la santé, il faut placer le travail qui constitue l'un des principaux vecteurs d'intégration sociale. Et pourtant, seulement 15 % des ex-patients psychiatriques parviennent à intégrer le marché régulier du travail. Les recherches qui expliquent cette réalité sont peu nombreuses. Notre équipe du GRASP (Groupe de recherche sur les aspects sociaux de la santé et de la prévention)/Centre FCAR souhaite remédier à cette situation en analysant les rapports de la santé mentale et du travail à l'aide des notions relatives au capital social, à la territorialité, l'empowerment, l'intersectorialité et au rétablissement (recovery).
