Abstract
The article presents an addendum to Doctor Karl R. Hanson's remarks regarding the article about long-term studies on recidivism by Ron Langevin. It discusses the use of RCMP files as basis for the study and information source. It also states that the lack of communication between provincial and federal sources of criminal records are the cause of missing cases and records about sex offenders. The importance and contribution of other source of information such as hospital records are also discussed.
