Abstract
Les estimations du nombre des Autochtones au Québec vont d'à peine 50 000 à près de 140 000. En dépit de cette imprécision, on tente de décrire la structure d'âge de cette population et de cerner les mécanismes de son renouvellement: la fécondité, la mortalité et la mobilité ethnique qui fut certainement très importante récemment comme en témoigne le très fort accroissement des Autochtones durant la dernière décennie.
