Abstract
Comment les théories sur la transmission et la création du sens peuvent-elles éclairer la vision de la beauté (et de son pendant, la laideur) dans la pièce de théâtre Provincetown Playhouse, juillet 1919, j'avais 19 ans de Normand Chaurette? De même que le processus de détection fonctionne dans un système basé sur des relations de substitution, la vision esthétique de la pièce passe par la pensée métaphorique. Du coup, la création du sens et la création du sentiment ressemblent au même mécanisme redoutable.
