Abstract
Le mouvement paysan au Mexique (1976-1984) Les paysans ont joué un rôle important dans la formation du Mexique moderne en participant massivement à la Révolution (1910-1917). Après 1970, la crise agricole a de nouveau provoqué la mobilisation paysanne. Le mouvement actuel, s'il est préoccupé par la poursuite de la redistribution des terres, incorpore également d'autres objectifs, tels l'indépendance politique des organisations, le contrôle du processus de production et la syndicalisation agricole. Ces revendications heurtent de front la politique actuelle du gouvernement mexicain, qui favorise au contraire le développement d'une agroindustrie aux mains du secteur privé.
