Abstract
Résumé Henri d'Arles est peu connu comme critique littéraire, et l'objectif de cet article est de faire ressortir cet aspect de son oeuvre en resserrant la période étudiée aux années vingt, c'est-à-dire au moment où d'Arles collabora à L'Action française. À cette fin, les origines du mouvement de l'Action française sont d'abord évoquées. Ensuite, l'on y aborde son ouvrage Acadie, publié après ses débuts à L'Action française, qui suscita une vive polémique et marqua les orientations du critique. Finalement, c'est la contribution proprement littéraire de Henri d'Arles qui est étudiée dans un effort pour saisir les contours de sa pensée critique.
