Abstract
The standard FDTD method for Maxwell's equations is reformulated on face-centered cubic (FCC) grids as an alternative to the standard Cartesian (Yee) grid. Dispersion and stability for the formulation are also presented, and a comparison is made with the standard FDTD formulation using the metric of equal volume density of gridpoints. Although the new formulation has four times as many lattice points per unit voxel in comparison with the standard formulation, the new formulation shows much better grid isotropy. Furthermore, the new formulation has a stability criterion that is approximately 1.4 times more relaxed than that of the standard formulation.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
