Case PresentationA 59-year-old man with a 4-month history of continuous lone atrial fibrillation (AF) resistant to antiarrhythmic drug treatment and three electrical cardioversions was referred for radiofrequency (RF) catheter ablation.A quadripolar electrode catheter was positioned in the coronary sinus (CS).A circular decapolar catheter for mapping pulmonary venous (PV) perimeters (Lasso, Biosense Webster, Diamond Bar, CA, USA) and an externally irrigated ablation catheter (Thermocool, Biosense Webster) were inserted into the left atrium (LA) via the transseptal approach.Signals were sampled at 1 KHz with filter settings from 100 to 250 Hz for intracardiac signals and 0.1 to 50 Hz for surface electrocardiograms.
