Cet article étudie les configurations et les traits distinctifs de l’hybridité linguistique et culturelle dans les écritures migrantes au Québec. Dans la première partie, il se focalise sur le métissage linguistique comme réceptacle de mémoires et moteur de sensations et comme traduction de l’éclatement de l’identité. Dans la deuxième partie, il aborde l’hybridité culturelle des écritures migrantes associée au territoire spatial et symbolique, au discours de l’“itinérance identitaire” (Ouellet 2002), de “l’enracinerrance” (Robin 2004), de la (re)naissance. La dernière partie est consacrée à l’étude des écrivains migrants comme passeurs de langues, des “ouvreurs de mots” (Ollivier 1999), comme passeurs de mémoires (mémoires de la “migrance,” de l’esclavage, de la guerre et de la répression), comme bâtisseurs d’hybridité et “écrivains de frontière” (Ollivier 2001).
