The miniaturization of devices for emerging electrochemical energy related applications combined with the requirement of enhanced performance with long-term stability requires the production of intercalation oxide electrodes with controlled structure and properties.We report highly oriented growth of pulsed-laser deposited LiNi0.8Co0.2O2 films for application in microbattery device applications.
