Abstract
Résumé Dans l'univers romanesque de Réjean Ducharme, les noms instaurent des réseaux de significations qui prolifèrent à travers tout le texte. La création onomastique de Ducharme, de même que le discours théorique que ses personnages tiennent sur les noms, constituent une véritable constellation où s'établissent des rapports d'analogie, d'opposition ou d'équivalence, aussi bien entre ¡es noms eux-mêmes qu'à l'égard des personnages qu'ils désignent. À un extrême de la nomination ducbarmienne, le nom relève d'une philosophie réaliste- le nom désigne la chose. À l'autre extrême, il participe d'un nominalisme exacerbé- la chose n'est qu'un nom. Entre ces deux pôles s'inscrit une constante: le désir de rejoindre l'Autre, de se l'approprier, de fusionner avec lui. Le nom suscite inévitablement la question de l'altérité ou, plus exactement du refus de l'altérité.
