Nos colères nous trahissent. En effet, l’invective est une parole éruptive dont les exigences supposent un engagement de la part du locuteur en colère parce que dévoilant ses affections, le sujet se positionne. Il est pourtant possible de déroger à ces conditions en insultant à voix basse, en se cachant pour crier des bêtises ou en s’enfuyant après les avoir proférées. Lâchetés ou stratégies ? Qu’en est-il de ces locuteurs indisciplinés qui refusent de se conformer aux exigences de la querelle en bonne et due forme ? Consacré à l’étude des textes de Réjean Ducharme, cet article montre comment l’auteur voile et dévoile ses engagements dans les situations de conflit.
