Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This paper investigates the potential use of supplemental controls of DFIG-based wind farms combined with a phase imbalanced hybrid series capacitive compensation scheme for damping power system oscillations. In the hybrid scheme, two phases are compensated by fixed series capacitors (C) and the third phase is compensated by a TCSC in series with a fixed capacitor (C c ). The paper also addresses the recent concern over the case of large share of wind power generation which results in reducing the total inertia of the synchronous generators and degrading the system transient stability. It shows that in such a case; properly designed supplemental controls for the DFIG back-to-back converters could be an asset in improving the system transient stability rather than degrading it. The effectiveness of the supplemental controls in damping power system oscillations is evaluated using the EMTP-RV program.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
