Abstract
Les communautés religieuses, particulièrement touchées par les changements survenus dans la société civile au Québec depuis la Révolution tranquille, sont entrées dans des nouvelles formes de présence aux appauvris. De même, les diocèses ont créé des services de pastorale sociale pour accompagner les communautés chrétiennes vers de nouvelles réponses aux besoins. Quels chemins idéologiques et organisationnels ces deux milieux ont-ils emprunté pour identifier et assumer de nouvelles formes d’insertion sociale? Le présent article apporte des éléments d’information en souhaitant que des pistes de recherche puissent en ressortir.
