Abstract
Résumé Cet article analyse les relations entre le choix d’un mode d’approvisionnement en systèmes d’information, la valeur des ressources utilisées dans les activités de développement de systèmes et la présence des ressources à un niveau suffisant au sein de l’entreprise. L’objectif est de mieux comprendre les facteurs sous-tendant la décision de garder le développement d’un système d’information à l’interne ou d’en confier la responsabilité à une entreprise spécialisée externe. Le modèle d’approvisionnement en systèmes d’information que nous proposons est fondé sur l’approche par les compétences de base. L’application de ce modèle est illustrée par l’analyse de quatre projets informatiques types qui mettent en relief le rôle joué par la valeur stratégique relative des projets et la présence des compétences clés dans le choix d’un mode d’approvisionnement.
