Abstract
Période de grand changement, la Révolution tranquille a suscité des réactions fort diverses chez les groupes sociaux en présence, réactions dont les romanciers ont rendu compte dans leurs oeuvres. La présente étude propose une exploration de la figure du changement dans quatre romans publiés entre 1959 et 1963 et dégage une série de traits morphologiques qui rendent compte de deux visions du monde : une vision rationalisée où le changement est vu comme le produit d’une volonté agissante et une vision religieuse où le changement est subi comme fatalité.
