Abstract

Ce texte présente une réflexion sur les différences, les convergences et les limites des discours actuels sur l'identité francophone (sexuée et ethnique) en Ontario. L'analyse est construite à partir d'un corpus de 40 textes publiés entre 1978 et 1994. Les différences entre ces deux discours sont précisément liées à leur positionnement différent dans le champ discursif de la théorisation du fait minoritaire, alors que leurs convergences sont le produit de l'idéologie nationalitaire qui les anime. Finalement, les limites de ces discours apparaissent lorsqu'on tente, à partir des mêmes cadres théoriques, de penser le pluralisme et la diversité dans les sociétés postmodernes.
