Dans cet article, il est d’abord question d’une culture scientifique pour tous dont le thème de base est : sciences et société. En second lieu, viennent la définition de la méthode « investigation » et les avantages des habiletés qu’elle sous-tend. Pour atteindre les nouveaux objectifs d’un bon enseignement des sciences, trois voies sont préconisées : vulgarisation, faits scientifiques historiques et intégration. Enfin, nous apportons quelques considérations sur le rôle et le travail en synergisme des agents concernés dans un renouveau de l’enseignement des sciences modernes.
