Pour diverses raisons contingentes, les systèmes français de Sécurité sociale et d’information démographique et sociale ont divergé jusqu’à la cacophonie. Ils aboutissent aujourd’hui l’un à la «couverture maladie universelle», l’autre au «recensement rénové de la population». Les projets d’«administration en ligne» pourraient être l’occasion de les refaire converger.
