Abstract
On trouve deux sortes de baisers dans la poésie masculine de la Renaissance française. L'une prend son origine chez les lyriques latins dont s'inspirent les Basia de Jean Second, l'autre dans une épigramme de Platon transformée par les Italiens à la lumière du De amore de Ficin ; et tous ces baisers sont légitimés par l'absolue supériorité d'un sexe sur l'autre. Les auteures ont ignoré la première sorte, qui ne met en scène que des « Mignone ». Mais la seconde, la « philosophique », a causé grand tort aux femmes : ce que remarquent Pernette Du Guillet, Louise Labé et Marguerite de Navarre avec élégance et douleur.
