Abstract
Cette recherche quantitative et non expérimentale sur le terrain auprès des employés oeuvrant au service de protection de la jeunesse d'un centre de services sociaux a comme objectif de vérifier les liens entre les diverses variables que sont les sources de stress au travail et en dehors du travail, la personnalité et les conséquences de stress. Les résultats montrent qu'il existe un lien entre un ensemble de stresseurs et les conséquences personnelles et organisationnelles. La difficulté de concilier le travail et les obligations personnelles et familiales ont des incidences sur la santé des répondants et sur l'organisation. Deux profils de personnalité distincts, l'interne confiant et le pondéré altruiste, perçoivent des conséquences de stress différentes.
