Abstract
Consacré à l'histoire des déclarations de Journée des femmes, de 1908 à nos jours, cet article d'analyse du discours s'inspire d'un certain nombre de notions développées par Michel Foucault. Il commence par mettre en lumière le lien entre les différentes versions « historico-politiques » et les significations successives données à la JIDF. Reprenant ensuite chaque épisode supposé ou réel de « déclaration du 8 mars », il montre que les phénomènes d'occultation, voire de déni, qui accompagnent ces déclarations permettent de parler d'« ordre du discours ». Il se clôt enfin par une interrogation sur la nature performative de ces déclarations.
