Abstract
France Daigle aborde dans son oeuvre littéraire diverses problématiques rencontrées dans la littérature québécoise contemporaine, notamment la question identitaire et les enjeux sous-tendant la médiation complexe du « je » singulier et du « nous » collectif. Mon étude de Pas pire assimile la visée expérimentale de l’auteure à une esthétique postmoderne marquée du sceau du féminin et situe textuellement cette différenciation au plan de la perception visuelle grâce à laquelle l’énonciatrice recatégorise nombre de strates de l’identité minoritaire. L’entreprise de (ré)invention littéraire de soi se réalise à l’aide d’un regard caméra qui oscille entre pulsions duelles, confrontant une focalisation axée sur l’implosion du regard et du mouvement, incarnée par un sujet aux prises avec l’agoraphobie, à une visée d’expansion visuelle, pluralisante et libératrice. La plasticité du regard énonciateur ouvre sur un espace culturel relationnel où prévalent le geste créateur et l’échange dialogique avec l’autre.
