Abstract
Cette recherche evalue les effets d'une intervention de groupe s'adressant a des hommes ayant vecu des agressions sexuelles durant leur enfance (ASE). Un devis quasi experimental est utilise pour comparer 23 hommes ayant participe a l'intervention de groupe a 13 hommes ayant vecu des ASE, mais ne recevant aucun service en lien avec celles-ci. Les resultats indiquent que les hommes qui ont complete l'intervention de groupe s'ameliorent de facon significative au niveau de l'estime de soi et de la sous-echelle de symptomes traumatiques lies aux ASE comparativement aux hommes du groupe temoin. Aucune difference n'est detectee entre les deux groupes concernant la detresse psychologique, le stress post-traumatique et le sentiment de solitude. La discussion porte sur l'implication des resultats au plan clinique et sur les forces et limites methodologiques de l'etude.
