Abstract
La normalisation de la césarienne, la résultante de rapports femmes-experts Une recherche qualitative menée auprès de femmes et de médecins pour mieux comprendre le phénomène de la multiplication des césariennes a permis de constater que cette intervention chirurgicale était en voie de normalisation dans les milieux étudiés. Les résultats présentés ici portent plus spécifiquement sur les rapports femmes-experts au cœur de ce processus. Les attitudes et rôles respectifs ainsi que la poursuite d'objectifs communs définis par la recherche d'un contrôle sur le processus de la reproduction dans un contexte dominé par la technologie sont parmi les mécanismes décrits.
