Abstract
Le lien entre migration et sida est généralement étudié sous un angle épidémiologique, mais les effets de la migration sur les connaissances relatives au sida sont très peu connus. Les auteures présentent certains résultats d'une recherche multidisciplinaire réalisée au Cameroun en 1992-93, montrant l'influence de la migration sur les connaissances relatives au sida. Du fait d'un comportement migratoire différent selon le sexe, non seulement les hommes ont une meilleure connaissance du sida que les femmes, mais la migration, en favorisant cette connaissance, accroît la sous-information relative des femmes.
