A 16-bit sigma-delta modulator for low power medical implantable sensors
Bibliographic record
Abstract
We present in this paper the design and implementation of a single-loop second-order CMOS sigma-delta modulator for medical implantable sensors. The modulator circuits features a reduced complexity, power efficient topologies and allow a high resolution of 16 bits. The analog-to-digital converter (ADC) has a sampling rate of 5.12 MHz with an over-sampling ratio of 256, providing a signal bandwidth of 10 kHz. It achieves a 99 dB signal-to-noise-and-distortion ratio at a Nyquist conversion rate of 20 kHz and presents a total power consumption of 1.63 mW. The modulator uses a new fully differential operational amplifier with high performance to realize the integrators. The ADC is being implemented in 0.18 mum CMOS technology, using a supply voltage of 3.3 V.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
