Abstract
Les mondes virtuels, ou métavers — qu'il ne faut pas confondre avec des jeux vidéos —, sont des univers numériques persistants, accessibles 24 heures sur 24 uniquement sur Internet, et en permanente évolution. Ces métavers ont longtemps puisé leur inspiration dans la culture académique et populaire. Par contre, ces métavers ont également inspiré des œuvres littéraires ou cinématographiques. Culture académique et culture des métavers sont de plus en plus en interaction. Cette synthèse, que nous proposons ici, a pour objet de faire un constat des interactions entre la culture de ces métavers et la culture académique.
