A low power DC-DC converter for scavenged power wireless sensor networks
Bibliographic record
Abstract
This work presents a compact buck converter that is capable of operating without voltage references or a constant input voltage for use in a compact, ultracapacitor based wireless sensor node. This is done through the use of a direct connected topology and a voltage sensor. Measured results show that for an output of 1.2 V for a load of 100 Ohms, a power efficiency ranging from 71.9-84.3% and a current efficiency ranging from 99.5-157.6% is achieved. A similar linear regulator with a current efficiency of 98.3-98.8% was designed and tested. The designs were implemented in a 0.13 um CMOS process, with the linear regulator using 0.033 mm of area and the buck converter using 0.042 mm2of area, achieving comparable or better performance than similar designs with less silicon area.

Full frame machine prediction
Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
