Abstract
Qu’est-ce que l’errance aujourd’hui à l’heure de la « cinétique politique » (Sloterdijk, 2003) ? Dans un contexte où l’inclusion sociale se définit par la capacité des individus à se mouvoir, s’activer et demeurer flexible dans des environnements rapidement changeants, l’auteure avance l’hypothèse que l’errance ne prend plus la forme du nomadisme des corps, mais bien de l’immobilisme ou des pannes de l’action. Cet article propose dans un premier temps une définition conceptuelle de l’errance, en l’articulant aux caractéristiques de la normativité contemporaine. À l’aide de résultats provenant d’une enquête de terrain en situation d’itinérance, il propose dans un second temps une définition ancrée de l’errance, que l’auteure désigne comme la « vie moindre ». Elle montre en quoi ce régime spécifique d’errance vient troubler les frontières et révéler certaines contradictions dans la normativité cinétique qui a cours.
