Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

At Re=2000, the predicted flow field around a circular cylinder in forced transverse oscillation is verified with experimental results. For coupled torsional and transverse oscillation cases, the numerical results indicate that lock-in depends on the relative phase between torsional and translational oscillations. The dynamic response of an elastically mounted circular cylinder in cross flow, obtained by solving the structural equations simultaneously with the Navier-Stokes equations, is in reasonable agreement with experimental data. The dynamic response results indicate that the change of wake pattern from 2S to 2P with increased frequency ratio, is not always simultaneous with the change in the relative phase between lift force and cylinder displacement. Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
